In December of 2005, Kevan was fortunate enough to spend two weeks of the harsh Canadian winter in the lovely tropics of Belize, Central America. This trip was his first excursion into a tropical environment, which has turned into a series of repeats since, but was also his first chance to use his skills as an amateur photographer outside of Canada, and indeed, outside of his normal shooting style.
The following is a brief collection of some of his work in Belize during the two week period. The locations seen in the photographs include viewpoints from Caye Caulker Island and Tikal - one of the largest Mayan ruin sites in Central America.
